Recently with the aid of Apple, I have been able to further take assistive technology out of the box and show more people what is available.  It seems that once people are presented with an iPad to use a barrier goes down and they realise very quickly that they can make use of the technology.




This equipment has enabled me to reach more people within education. From our international students to staff; caretakers to teachers and even the school dein.

Anomic Aphasia

What is Anomic Aphasia? Anomic aphasia, also known as dysnomia, nominal aphasia, and amnesic aphasia; is a severe problem with recalling words or names. Anomic aphasia (anomia) is a type of aphasia characterized by difficulty recalling words or names. However, sometimes people can recall the name when given clues. In addition, people are able to speak with correct grammar; the main difficulty is finding the appropriate word to identify an object or person. Sometimes people may know what to do with an object, but still not be able to give a name to the object. Visual Stress
