These are my favourite tools in TextHelp (PC Version), what are yours?

Word Wizard

This button enables the user to find words and information. For example, if you choose a word that has a double meaning you can extract the information from the word.

Click this button to do a quick web search directly from your windows applications. This works directly with the search engine you choose. Once you have gone to the web you can then search again, more specifically.

Fact Finder

Click this button to do a quick web search directly from your windows applications. This works directly with the search engine you choose. Once you have gone to the web you can then search again, more specifically.

Assistant App

Assistant App is a great new app powered by the Nuance voice technology used for Dragon and other applications. It allows you to organise your time by way of a calendar with all dates and events now added by voice recording. As a dyslexic it allows me to take ownership in planning my time but also means that others can set me reminders. Hearing a voice relay the information to me is a great help. Assistant App

Anomic Aphasia

What is Anomic Aphasia? Anomic aphasia, also known as dysnomia, nominal aphasia, and amnesic aphasia; is a severe problem with recalling words or names. Anomic aphasia (anomia) is a type of aphasia characterized by difficulty recalling words or names. However, sometimes people can recall the name when given clues. In addition, people are able to speak with correct grammar; the main difficulty is finding the appropriate word to identify an object or person. Sometimes people may know what to do with an object, but still not be able to give a name to the object. For example, if a they are shown an orange and asked what it is called, they may be well aware that the object can be peeled and eaten, and may even be able to demonstrate this by actions or even verbal responses – however, they cannot recall that the object is called an "orange." For many year's I thought that my reading ability, concentration and memory all related to my dyslexia.
