Swivl

Recently I have been testing out Swivl, a new assistive tool that turns your phone or camera into a self-tracking camera.

''
The Swivl tracks movement via a sensor while your iPhone shoots smooth panning video. It tilts up and down and rotates a whole 360 degrees.

The Swivl knows who or what you want to film by tracking an easy-to-wear and super compact 3-in-1 sensor. The sensor acts as a sensor for movement, a microphone for crystal clear audio and a remote for fine-tuned Swivl control.''

This video shows just a couple of the features of the Swivl.  I think it's a great tool for students and teachers alike, it can be used to record lectures for distance learning with no fuss. You can move around as you wish and the Swivl will follow.

More on the Swivl soon!

Swivi you can go from the iPhone 3 to a iPhone 5 and now with iPad 3 and lot more

Assistant App

Assistant App is a great new app powered by the Nuance voice technology used for Dragon and other applications.   It allows you to organise your time by way of a calendar with all dates and events now added by voice recording. As a dyslexic it allows me to take ownership in planning my time but also means that others can set me reminders.  Hearing a voice relay the information to me is a great help. Assistant App

OmniRead

'Tint My Screen test' here   (PC ONLY)  The TintMy Screen solution is aimed at those computer users who; Wish to improve their reading comfort and efficiency off the computer. Have problems with headaches, dry eyes, migraines, etc following prolonged use and are seeking ways to minimise this discomfort and derive greater pleasure from their computer. Experience a reading problem and are looking for additional support. The Solution; The test we have devised is patented and based upon the logic inherent within our consultancy offering.
